Sail With Us is an online platform that connects sailors with sailing events, regattas, and yacht clubs. The Service allows users to:
- Browse and discover sailing events and regattas
- Register boats and enter events as a skipper
- Find and connect with crew opportunities
- Discover yacht clubs and sailing venues
- Create and maintain a sailor profile
3. User Accounts
To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update that information as necessary.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information about boats, events, or yourself
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
5. Event Listings
Event listings on Sail With Us are provided for informational purposes. We do not organize or operate sailing events and are not responsible for the conduct of any event, race, or regatta listed on the platform. Participation in any sailing event involves inherent risk; users participate at their own risk.
6. Safety Disclaimer
Sailing is an inherently risky activity. Sail With Us does not verify the qualifications, certifications, or seaworthiness of skippers, crew members, or vessels listed on the platform. You are solely responsible for assessing the suitability of any skipper, crew member, or vessel before participating in any sailing activity.
7. Intellectual Property
The Sail With Us name, logo, and all content created by us are our intellectual property. User-submitted content (such as profile information and event details) remains the property of the submitting user, but by submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content as part of the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sail With Us shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or participation in any sailing event discovered through the Service.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
