About
Leatherlips Yacht Club is a private member driven volunteer, non-profit sailing club. The purpose of this Club shall be primarily to promote and facilitate the sport of sail yachting and of sail yacht racing, and secondarily to provide a social center for the members, their families, and guests. Our members are friendly, family-oriented sailors who enjoy the competition and comraderie of sailing and racing. We have long-term and new members, national championship racers, beginning racers and pleasure sailors. Our club offers activities for club racing, Sailing School, racing clinics, boat tuning clinics, kayaking and a variety of social gatherings. Our youth participate in many of the general activities, but there are also programs just for them, including Sailing School Summer Camps, Intermediate / Advanced sailing clinics, and LYC Jr. Sailor Events
